A Complete Eye Health Check
Depending on your needs, your examination may include checks for:
- Your glasses or contact lens prescription
- Eye pressure and glaucoma
- Macular health
- Retinal health
- How well your eyes work together
- Other changes that may affect your vision or eye health
Where clinically appropriate, we may also recommend advanced imaging such as OCT or digital retinal photographyfor a more detailed view of your eyes.

*Standard comprehensive eye tests are bulk billed to Medicare for eligible Medicare cardholders. Additional imaging, specialised testing or treatment may incur a fee. Any costs will always be discussed with you before proceeding. Patients without Medicare are also welcome.

Are eye checks covered by Medicare?
Yes, all standard eye tests are fully covered by Medicare and can be carried out at any time you feel your vision has changed or have concerns about your eye health. If additional scans or procedures are indicated and fall outside Medicare these will be discussed with you at or before your appointment.
Do you accept bulk billing for eye tests?
Yes all standard eye tests are bulk billed if you're covered by Medicare.
